Nicole W. Lee

Nicole W. Lee is a poet and educator born to Chinese Malaysian parents. Her poetry has been published or is forthcoming in Adroit Journal, AGNI, Poetry Northwest, Shenandoah, and elsewhere, and has received support from Bread Loaf, Tin House, and AWP. Winner of the Palette Poetry Previously Published Prize, she holds an MFA from Warren Wilson College and is an associate poetry editor at Four Way Review. Her poems explore the intersection of classical East and West Asian aesthetics with migration, mythology, and contemporary diasporic poetry. 

A prior instructor at the Asian American Literary Archive, Nicole is passionate about close reading and compositional inquiry, ensuring students maintain a sense of curiosity not only about their own work, but the work of others’.
