Rebecca Jamieson

Rebecca Jamieson (she/her) is the founder of Contemplate Create, where she teaches writing workshops with a mindfulness lens, and is a contributing editor for Isele magazine. Her writing has appeared in various publications, including the Offing, Entropy, Rattle, Hunger Mountain, and Stirring. Her essay “Leaving Shambhala” was named one of Entropy’s fifty most-read pieces of all time. Her poetry chapbook The Body of All Things was published by Finishing Line Press in 2017. Rebecca holds an MFA in writing & publishing from the Vermont College of Fine Arts, where she founded the community enrichment writing program. She has also taught writing workshops with Write Around Portland, the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology, the Northwest Narrative Medicine Conference, and the MEd programs at the Institute for Educational Studies. She lives in Madison, Wisconsin, on traditional Ho-Chunk land.
