Savannah Brooks
Savannah Brooks earned her MFA from Hamline University and spent the first decade of her career working in publishing, first as an editor and then as a literary agent. After contracting long Covid, she left the field to focus on writing and teaching, which she does regularly through the Loft Literary Center, the Great Smokies Writing Program (UNCA), and the Flatiron Writers Room. Her work has been featured in the Guardian, Scuba Diving Magazine, and Prime Number Magazine, along with more than a dozen other publications, and has been nominated for a Best of the Net Award. She lives in Asheville, North Carolina, where she also performs with her short-form improv troupe. You can find out more at savannahbrooks.com.
