Shawn Goodman

Shawn Goodman is the award-winning author of young-adult novels Something Like Hope (Delacorte, 2010), Kindness for Weakness (Delacorte, 2013), and This Way Home (co-written with Wes Moore, Delacorte, 2015).

His experiences working in several New York state juvenile detention facilities inspired Something Like Hope, and he is an active advocate for juvenile justice reform.
