Class6-Week: Write Your Screenplay or TV Pilot in 6 Weeks
Having trouble starting or following through with your screenplay? Need a structured environment to keep you writing? Then this class is for you.
Designed as both a workshop and instruction on craft as a focus, students will have an opportunity to learn the art form of screenwriting, generate work in class, and share and receive feedback from their peers and teaching artist. Each week we'll cover aspects of craft in screenwriting while also focusing on student’s work. Our final class will discuss industry advice on how to get your script into the hands of industry professionals.
The teaching artist is happy to read up to 10–15 pages of student works in progress and do a phone feedback session, upon in-class request of registered students. No class on Nov 27.
Please email [email protected] at least two to three weeks in advance if you have any accessibility requests for this class. This class takes place in-person, at the Loft at Open Book. Please see the Loft’s website for the most up to date information about the Loft’s COVID policies.
