Wouldn’t it be cool if you could write something terrific and also make a lot more sense of your life at the same time?

In this class, which isn’t therapy, just a writing class, you’ll learn how to identify significant events, moments, stories, and choices from stages of your life and then find connections between them as the full portrait of your memoir’s lead character emerges. Does that bold decision you made when you were 30 have its roots in something that happened to you when you were eight years old? Did a revelatory experience as a young adult set you on the path to where you are today as an older one?

This is a friendly and welcoming one-day class meant for writers of all levels of experience or people who are just curious about themselves. It will be a mix of instruction, discussion, and writing held in a supportive atmosphere.
