Land a Byline with a Book Review

Turn your reading hobby into a byline and break into literary magazines with book reviews! This single session workshop will show you how to:
-Read fiction, nonfiction, or poetry like a critic
-Request Advanced Reading Copies (ARCs) of forthcoming books.
-What elements to include in a book review
-How to structure a book review
-Where to pitch and submit book reviews

Students will leave the workshop with a book review outline and a list of publications where they can submit their reviews.
