Land a Byline with a Book Review

Turn your reading hobby into a byline and break into literary magazines with book reviews! This 4-hour workshop will show you how to:

–Read fiction, nonfiction, or poetry like a critic
–Learn how to structure a book review
–Learn what elements to include in a book review
–Request ARCs (Advanced Reading Copies) of forthcoming books
–Find out where to pitch and submit book reviews

Students will leave the workshop with a book review outline and a list of publications where they can submit their reviews.
