ClassLoft After School Online: Write Because You Love It for Ages 15-18
Do you love writing? Would you like to generate new work this fall, or maybe keep up with those projects you had so much time for over the summer? Are you looking for a community of other word-loving teens like yourself?
In this four-week workshop, you'll use prompts—objects, words, starter sentences, strange situations, you name it!—every week to grease the creative gears. You can create new writing or even use the prompts to give a work-in-progress a boost.
If you've been needing a nudge to branch out into a new genre, that's great, too. This is the place where you can delve deeper into your favorite genre or experiment with a new one. And don't worry about unkind critiques. This is a positive-feedback zone, so everyone can find out where they excel. But if you don't want to share your work, that's cool. Sharing is always optional.
If you want to write new stuff, continue with summer projects, get unstuck, and meet other teens who love writing, join us! Fiction writers, poets, essayists, screenwriters—all are welcome in this fun, judgment-free workshop.
All Classes listed on the Loft website take place in Central Time.
