Do you dream about launching your own podcast or building your platform through podcasts? In this single session workshop, you’ll learn how to engage with the literary community through podcasting. Find out more about DIY podcasting: what it takes to start a podcast and how to land guest appearances on podcasts.
The class will cover:
-All of the elements needed to start a narrative or conversational podcast, from concept to cover art
-How to create an optimal home recording environment
-How to find guests and conduct interviews
-Pitching protocol, and how being a podcast guest can help showcase your work
-How to overcome podcasting’s biggest barrier: listening to your own voice
