Do you dream about launching your own podcast or building your platform through podcasts? In this single session workshop, you’ll learn how to engage with the literary community through podcasting. Find out what it takes to start your own DIY podcast. You'll also learn how to promote your work and grow your platform by being a podcast guest.

This 4-hour class will cover:
—All the elements needed to start a narrative or conversational podcast, from concept to cover art
—How to create an optimal home recording environment
—How to find guests and conduct interviews
—Pitching protocol, and how being a podcast guest can help showcase your work
—How to overcome podcasting’s biggest barrier: listening to your own voice
