Scene Writing (for ages 12 to 14)

A perfect choice for young, aspiring writer/actors, this collaborative workshop uses a combination of improv games and screenwriting techniques to create dynamic scenes for scripts and novels. Participants will explore scene-based storytelling and learn how to rely solely on action and dialogue to move the plot forward. Then they'll work collaboratively to write and rehearse their own scenes, with the opportunity to perform their works-in-progress at the workshop’s end.
