How can you best write the story of your life? Maybe you’ve started writing (and maybe you haven’t), but now you’re stuck, wondering what to include and what to leave out. How much of the family history should you tell? And what do you do about that family secret?

This class provides real world solutions to the challenges memoir writers face. Learn how to cull diary entries for a more compelling story. Get tips that will help you remember what you need to remember––especially with regard to dialogue. Discover ways to best tell your story––without making anything up. Find out what you need to bring your project to completion. Get the essentials of writing life. Bring a bag lunch; we’ll break as needed.
