ClassWriting Fantasy
Fantasy is a special genre that allows us to see the world through a magical lens. From high fantasy to magical realism, to romantasy and alternate universes, it allows us to empower our characters and ask "what if?" This 4-session class will explore the history and present day stories of fantasy. We will also learn how to build our own worlds through character, plot, language, setting, and theme, and share those worlds with each other.
While this class does not include a workshop component, we will share our work that we bring to class or write in class and receive a small amount of feedback.
