Create Community Posting

The Loft is proud to foster a diverse reading and writing community, and to help writers connect with each other. Our Community Postings section facilitates that by allowing the public to post opportunities directly to our website. Categories include calls for submissions, contests and grants, writing groups, book clubs, services for writers, and Loft member and student news.

You can post for free. The Loft will curate and approve each post. (We don't post content that doesn't fit our mission, and we reserve the right to lightly edit for clarity. Posts that directly compete with Loft offerings will not be posted.) Please allow three business days for your post to appear after submission.

We regularly include community postings in the Loft Enews, which reaches about 16,000 readers and writers.

All community postings come down after six months. Contact us at [email protected] if you would like to take down your community posting earlier.
