What You’ll Submit: Your book-length nonfiction manuscript.   

What You’ll Get: A 7–10 page editorial letter outlining recommendations for re-direction, re-shaping, and further exploration. You will also have two follow-up consultations. The first follow-up will be a phone call of up to an hour and will address any questions you may have about the editorial letter. Should you wish to take advantage of the second follow-up, Heather will accept a revision of the book (or a portion of it) submitted within 3 months of the first consultation. The second follow-up will be a 1-2 page letter evaluating the revision and some other possible next steps.   

Pricing: Loft manuscript critique consists of a flat base price, plus a per word fee. You can enter your word count below and the system will calculate your price. 

• $250 (base price) + 1.25 cents/word

Turnaround:

• Up to 70,000 words: 4 weeks
• Up to 100,000 words: 4 weeks
