Please join us for a public reading by the 2026 McKnight Judge in Poetry and Spoken Word, acclaimed writer, poet, and leader, Cornelius Eady. Eady's groundbreaking and celebrated work confronts history, celebrates resilience, and captures the rhythms of everyday life.

Following the reading, Eady will sit down for an on-stage conversation with the Loft’s Executive and Artistic Director, Arleta Little. Together, they will dive into the power of voice, the craft of truth-telling, and what it takes to build life-sustaining communities.
