Hamdam: a daily verse from the great Persian poets

Hamdam is an app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, made in Brisbane, Australia, that brings Persian poetry into everyday life.

Each day it offers a verse and a reflection, chosen for how your day feels, from seven poets: Hafez, Rumi, Saadi, Khayyam, Parvin Etesami, Ferdowsi and Nezami. You can also draw the Fal of Hafez, read fourteen stories from the Shahnameh, keep a private journal for your own reflections, and use Ask an Elder to keep a grandparent's answer in their own voice.

Read the poets in English, or in Persian if you have a Persian connection. Every new install gets the whole app, Hamdam Plus included, free for its first seven days.

Some English renderings are AI-assisted.
