American Occupation Ask the Editors

The response of Minnesota writers to Operation Metro Surge was part of the coalition needed to build resistance, share important stories, and create powerful new networks.

Following on the book launch of American Occupation: Dispatches from Minnesota’s Resistance to Ice, the Loft’s Executive and Artistic Director Arleta Little moderates a discussion with the anthology editors, Jonny Diamond and Su Hwang, and University of Minnesota Press editor, Erik Anderson, on how this anthology came together and what it means for the power of writing in moments of crisis.

This will be a moderated conversation followed by an audience Q&A.
