Jaz Sufi (she/hers) is a queer Iranian-American poet and arts educator. Her work has been published or is upcoming in Best New Poets, Best of the Net, AGNI, Black Warrior Review, Muzzle, and elsewhere. She is a National Poetry Slam finalist and has received fellowships from Kundiman, the Watering Hole, and New York University, where she received her MFA. She is the current Poet Laureate of San Ramon on occupied Ohlone land, where she lives with her dog, Apollo.

Zach Goldberg is a writer, educator, and arts organizer from Durham, NC. He is the author of I’d Rather Be Destroyed (Button Poetry, 2024) and the chapbook XV (Nomadic Press/Black Lawrence, 2020). His work can be found or is forthcoming in AGNI, Sixth Finch, RHINO, and elsewhere. Zach has represented Wesleyan University and Berkeley, CA at various national and regional poetry slam tournaments. He is a proud co-founder of BuckSlam MN, a volunteer at Boneshaker Books, and a staff member at The Loft Literary Center. He lives on occupied Dakota land in Minneapolis, MN.

Khary Jackson is a writer, dancer, musician, and youth worker who joined the Project Success team in 2015. Originally from Detroit, he has worked in the Twin Cities since 2004. He has written a dozen plays, along with one screenplay, and released his first poetry book (2013). He’s currently working on a superhero fiction series, and conceptualizing a hip-hop/blues band project. 

Danez Smith is an American poet, writer and performer from St. Paul, Minnesota. They are queer, non-binary and HIV-positive. They are the author of the poetry collections [insert] boy and Don't Call Us Dead: Poems, both of which have received multiple awards, and Homie/My Nig. Graywolf Press published Bluff, their most recent poetry collection, in 2024.
