BuckSlam Poetry Open Mic + Team Feature (May 13)

BuckSlam is the Twin Cities' only monthly poetry slam, but this May, we're trying something a little different. Have you been holding out on us? Have you been avoiding sharing your work? Have you been nervous about getting "scores" from "judges" who think they "understand" poetry? Well this is your month! On May 13th, BuckSlam will host a very special *un-scored* open mic. Not only will get to hear work from YOU, but we'll have a feature set from members of the 2026 BuckSlam Poetry Team -PLUS- we're super bucking excited to hold this show (for one month only) at Yellowbird Coffee Bar NE! Come grab a beverage, grab a bite, and share your work with us this May!

Doors at 6:30pm. Show at 7pm.
$1 cover. NOTAFLOF.
Sign-ups open the morning of the show and close at 6:55pm!

*Yellowbird Coffee is a masks-optional space. BuckSlam encourages (and will provide) masks**

ACCESS INFO: Yellowbird is wheelchair and walker accessible and has multiple accessible restrooms. There is a single, 2 inch step to enter the space at the main entrance, but there are alternative, wheelchair-accessible entrances available. There are no steps up to the stage for performers.
