BuckSlam Spring Slam #1 (Apr 8th)

BuckSlam is the Twin Cities' only monthly poetry slam, and now that finals season is over, we're back with our regularly-scheduled program! We had an absolute blast at our Grand Slam Finals in March, but now we're taking a little breather with our unranked spring slam series. Poets competing for the next three months won't earn any points towards season rankings, but that juicy, juicy $1 bill is still up for grabs! At BuckSlam, up to twelve performers duke it out in a two-round battle of poetry for a chance to win ONE ENTIRE DOLLAR!** So bring your new poems, your weird poems, and your spring poems (or really, just any poems) to Indeed Brewing Company on Wednesday, April 8th. Herd that!

Doors at 6:30pm. Show at 7pm.
$1 cover. $1 prize.**
Sign-ups open the morning of the slam and close at 6:55pm

*Indeed Brewing Co. does not have a masking policy, but BuckSlam will provide and encourage the use of masks*

VENUE INFO: Indeed is wheelchair- and walker-accessible, although the doors do not have automatic door openers. The space has multiple gender-neutral, accessible restrooms, and there are no steps to get to the stage area. Outside food (but not drink) is allowed inside the venue.
