Call for Event Staff & Volunteers: 2026 Heartland Fall Forum (Oct 7–9)

Join the Midwest Independent Booksellers Association (MIBA) and GLIBA for the Heartland Fall Forum, taking place October 7–9, 2026 in Minneapolis!

Over three days, hundreds of booksellers, publishers, authors, and industry professionals gather for author talks, panels, networking, and celebrations of indie bookselling. We are currently hiring and recruiting local team members to help bring this event to life:

• Paid Registration Staff ($15/hr): 5–6 hour shifts greeting attendees, printing badges, and managing guest check-in. Great event logistics experience!
• Author Event Volunteers (Unpaid): Flexible shifts assisting with event setup and author signings. Perks include: Free access to author programming, complimentary meals (shift-dependent), and early-release advance reading copies (ARCs/galleys) of upcoming books!
