David Mura Book Launch Party (Oct 7)

On Oct 7, join Theater Mu for a free evening with nationally renowned and locally beloved writer David Mura to celebrate his new memoir, Exit, Miss Saigon! With excerpts read by the author, a mini lecture on Asian American theater by Josephine Lee, and a Q&A, start exploring the book’s reflections around “growing up white” and how identity, representation, and activism burst into his life during the Twin Cities’ Miss Saigon protests in 1992. Copies of the book will be available to purchase at the event, thanks to Xia Books & Café.
