The Literary Lights reading series (Next Chapter Booksellers) celebrates Black History Month and Frederick Douglass with a Zoom reading (https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_X2oSHoGxSsal5rmAGfk91A ) on February 7, 2021, 2:00-3:00 p.m. with Shannon Gibney, Chasity Gunn, Banji Lawal, Raymond Camper, and IBe' Kaba.

Host Donna Isaac is pleased to announce this standout line-up after being on a hiatus for a few months, stating, "I am thrilled to present such a stellar group of writers, including Shannon who along with Kao Kalia Yang just released What God is Honored Here?: Writings on Miscarriage and Infant Loss By and For Native Women and Women of Color; Chasity, the inaugural Poet Laureate for the city of Elgin, IL; Banji, who combines story telling with sound, music, and photography; Raymond, an Iraqi vet who ponders life in Minnesota with its racial tension and unspoken agony; and IBe', who recently contributed to the acclaimed anthology A Good Time for the Truth: Race in Minnesota."
