New Poetry Contest: St. Paul’s China Friendship Garden
The Minnesota China Friendship Garden Society and Dragon Festival 2019 announce a new poetry contest .
The purpose of the contest is to celebrate a new pavilion and the Dragon Festival at Lake Phalen.
Poets of any age and background may enter.
Entry is free.
The award is $100.
The winning poet will read their poem at Lake Phalen on Saturday, July 13, 2019, opening day of the Dragon Festival.
Judging is blind. The judges are Margaret Hasse, Kao Kalia Yang and Wang Ping.
