Paid Freelance Opportunities for Indigenous Writers

KAT & Company is building a roster of freelance Indigenous writers for upcoming paid project work.

We’re especially interested in strong writers with experience in scriptwriting, copywriting, creative storytelling, educational content, or other forms of written communication. Poets and other creative writers are also encouraged to reach out. 

Our work often includes health, educational, cultural, and community-focused projects intended to communicate with and serve Native communities. There is not one specific assignment open today, but we expect to begin engaging and vetting writers through paid project work within the next four to six weeks.

• A brief introduction
• Their Tribal Nation or community, if they’d like to share
• A few writing samples or a portfolio
• The types of writing they’re most interested in
