Poetry reading by Carol Rucks and Mary Junge with open mic period (Feb 21)

The Arvonne Fraser Library will sponsor a program with local poets Carol Rucks and Mary Junge on February 21, 1:00 to 3:00 (1222 4th St. SE in Mpls., east bank of the University of Minnesota). There is a parking lot on the south side of the building and parking is also available on side streets. 

Rucks and Junge will read some of their new poems and will host an open mic period. Come to the library for the comfort of poetry in community during this troubled time in our state and nation, a time when our reality changes day by day. Bring your poems of witness, your everyday life poems, or a favorite poem.
