Lisa M. Bolt Simons
Lisa's publications include four middle-grade "choose your path" novels, over 25 nonfiction children's books, and the adult history book Faribault Woolen Mill: Loomed in the Land of Lakes. Accolades include the MNSCBWI Writing Mentorship, an Honorable Mention for the McKnight Artist Fellowship, a Minnesota State Arts Board grant, and the Shabo Award. Her day job teaching English has lasted over 20 years; she's worked with students ages 5 to 70 from around the world. Originally from Colorado, she's lived in Mexico, Italy, and Japan; she currently resides in Southern Minnesota. She's a mom to boy/girl twins and is a wife to a guy who also loves to read.
