When bad things happen, the feelings and memories that we hold inside of us can be overwhelming. Throughout history, those who live through "interesting times" have shared their stories, be it the Blitz Diaries or fiction such as Narnia and Lord of the Rings. After Operation Metro Surge, let us come together to write down our shared history and find healing through community and storytelling. This will allow us to connect, learn from one another, tend to our wounds, and remember.

Note: We will talk at the beginning of class about what is safe to share and what should stay nameless or anonymous, depending on the current state of the city in July of 2026. Nothing shared in class will be published or leave the classroom outside of what the writer is comfortable with.
