ClassA Place for Your Work: 3 Exercises, 3 Drafts, 3 Publications
Someone once said the reason writers sometimes stop writing is because they don’t have an audience or a place to send their work. In this class, we will write with submissions in mind. Through writing exercises geared toward specific regional journals, we will draft short pieces that have the potential to fit those publications. You will leave the class with three started pieces and places to potentially submit them.
This class is ideal for someone wanting to build up their publication clips, someone stuck in their writing, or anyone wanting to generate and send out more work. Exercises will be focused on poetry and short fiction or memoir, under 1200 words.
This class is ideal for a beginner who is not sure how to submit work as well as for experienced writers whose creative well has gone dry and who need help priming the pump.
