ClassStory Blueprint Workshop
Writers are architects. But instead of building houses, we’re building books. Just like an architect, you need a blueprint of your book so you can make sure your foundations are strong. In this class designed for fiction writers, you will develop a one-page Story Blueprint that will illuminate your story’s foundations, from theme to plot to character, and set you up to write a story that works. Whether you are just starting to play with an idea, or are working through the messy middle of your story, or staring down a revision, the Story Blueprint is a great way to beat overwhelm and get your arms around your whole story.
By the end of this hands-on class, you will have a one-page Story Blueprint of your story that you will have shared with other writers in class for feedback and encouragement. The class is a mix of lecture, writing time, and sharing.
