Have you heard of Substack and wondered what it was? Do you have a Substack but you're not sure the best way to use it? In this class, we will look at several examples of people using their Substacks effectively to blog and connect with readers. You will come away with ideas for how to focus or start your own Substack, as well as a list of topic ideas for the next six months. We will also use writing exercises to generate 2-3 posts for your own Substack. Students will receive a one-page sheet on navigating Substack, which we will also cover in class.
In this class, students will:
-Leaving understanding what Substack is
-Explore effective examples
-Generate ideas and draft posts
