ClassWriting in Nature: Ecopoetics, Environmental Writing and Explorations
In this class, we will learn how to tell stories that explore both the natural world and our human condition as we exist in a constantly changing environment, clinging to life. We will read samples from a diverse body of prose and poetry, spanning multiple media forms, and workshop our own works-in-progress. Goals for this include walking away with a deeper understanding of the ongoing themes in your work, expanding your navigation of structure & style, discovering form & voice, and blurring the lines between genres. You should walk away with a polished piece (or pieces) of writing!
No class July 1.
