Poetry Writing Project Testimonials
I've felt challenged and accepted throughout the process, and I feel like I've made a substantial amount of progress in my career as a poet already. I always walk out of class with a better product than I brought in.

Novel Writing Project Testimonials
It’s a testament to the Loft, to Peter, and to the camaraderie created by a year’s worth of intense focus, that two years later a handful of us still meet monthly to check-in, discuss each other’s current projects, and celebrate our successes. I highly recommend the program.

I can't believe how far I've come. It's an amazing experience with an even more amazing instructor. I cannot recommend this program enough!

Honey in the Dark by Lee Colin Thomas
My goal in signing up for The year-long poetry project was to gain insight into how poets assemble a cohesive collection out of individual poems. I had been writing and publishing poems for many years, and I entered the program with a working manuscript in hand. But I had yet to break through.

The Barrens by Kurt Johnson
I enrolled in Peter Geye’s first Year-Long Novel Writing Project in the fall of 2016. I had previously written a draft of a memoir and a first novel, so I knew I had both the discipline and desire. My plan was to write third book written with the help of a seasoned professional.

Ivory Black and The Gravity of Love by Brian Duren
If you’re interested in writing and publishing novels, then I encourage you to enroll in Peter Geye’s Novel Writing Project (NWP). I enrolled in the first one and was delighted with everything I got out of it. Writers, editors, and agents visited our classes and provided valuable information.
