In this class, we’ll focus on crafting scenes, which are the building blocks of story. We’ll discuss the essential components of a scene and learn how to make it powerful and memorable. During the class, there'll be two blocks of time for writing, so students can apply these techniques to prompts, or to a piece of writing they're already working on. Students will leave the class with a checklist of elements as well as a toolbox of craft techniques to enrich their scenes.
