Hannah O'Grady

Hannah O’Grady is an Assistant Editor at St. Martin’s Press, where she has worked on many bestselling works of fiction and nonfiction, ranging from mysteries by Louise Penny and M. C. Beaton, to literary and upmarket fiction including Therese Anne Fowler’s Z and Kathleen Rooney’s Lillian Boxfish Takes A Walk, to historical nonfiction like Tom Clavin’s Dodge City and Wild Bill. On the fiction side, she is particularly drawn to novels and short stories with unique, compelling characters and a creative premise, as well as gripping, propulsive mysteries and thrillers. In nonfiction, she’s looking for untold stories from history, compelling new political perspectives or voices, and narratives engaging with science, medicine, and the natural world. Across genres, characters and authors from underrepresented backgrounds are of special interest, as well as books promoting social justice.
