Is your work ready for the world? Is the world ready for your work? Come explore your options for submission (and potentially, publication!) with CRAFT Literary Magazine Editor in Chief, Courtney Harler. Courtney has worked in the literary industry as a writer, submitter, editor, educator, and podcaster. She has a plethora of knowledge to share about the intricacies of the literary submission process. In this class, Courtney will cover how to: 1) handpick your markets, 2) parse their submission guidelines, 3) craft your cover letters, and 4) polish your author bios.

What’s (even!) more—Courtney will give you a sneak peek into the submission processes at CRAFT, with special emphasis on their upcoming contest for a print publication!

CRAFT is excited to announce the 2025 Novelette Print Prize. They'll be seeking submissions of polished novelettes from 7,500 to 15,000 words. One grand-prize winner will receive $3,000, print publication, royalties, and twenty author copies. Submissions will be open to all interested from January 15, 2025, until March 16, 2025. Entries will cost $30 and multiple entities will be welcomed. Guest Judge 'Pemi Aguda will choose the winner and write the foreword for this print publication!
