Iceland Writers Retreat scholarships (due Nov 1)

Scholarships are available for the 2025 Iceland Writers Retreat! It is free to apply, and applications are being accepted through Nov. 1. See website for full details. The Iceland Writers Retreat (IWR) will be held in Reykjavik, a UNESCO City of Literature, from April 23-27, 2025. Participants will gather for small group writing workshops led by an esteemed faculty including Curtis Sittenfeld, Ayana Mathis, Helen Macdonald, Danny Ramadan, Jonas Hassen Khemiri, Jann Arden, Meng Jin, Kevin Chong, Pedro Gunnlaugur Garcia, Yrsa Daley-Ward, and others. The IWR also includes literary-themed tours of the region, talks by Icelandic writers, receptions, readings, and a Q & A with the faculty.
