Get ready for submission season 2025! As agents and editors reemerge in January from their end-of-year breaks, will you be ready to get back into the submission swing of things after the holidays?

We all need accountability and a nudge now and then, and that's what this class is all about. In these eight sessions, we’ll set goals, compare notes, share our ups and downs, and support each other in submitting our writing. We'll also spend time learning more about the various parts of the submission process — researching agents and literary journals, organizing a plan of attack, making sense of acceptances and rejections — as we build community and cultivate resilience.

We’ll spend time in nearly every class working toward our goals, carving out dedicated time to submit, polishing our work, doing research — whatever you need. Most importantly, we'll hold ourselves and each other accountable to our goals. Get serious, connected, and perhaps even published with the guidance, structure, and help of this accountability workshop.

All genres welcome.

Students should have writing they're already submitting or are planning to submit over the course of the workshop. However, they don't necessarily need to be ready to submit in the first few weeks.

All Classes listed on the Loft website take place in Central Time.
