ClassFlash Creative Nonfiction Generator: Spring Toolkit
Read and write tiny personal essays in this three-hour flash creative nonfiction generator. Writing in the short form (1,000 words or less) can be a great way to energize and focus your words. Learn to create lasting depth and impact in a small space with the help of craft techniques, flash nonfiction examples, and generative exercises that will leave you with fresh ideas and several new mini-essay drafts of your own. At the end of class, the teaching artist will provide additional flash nonfiction readings and exercises for participants to try on their own.
This class takes place in-person, at the Loft at Open Book; we encourage participants to be fully vaccinated and masked in the interest of everyone’s safety. Please see the Loft’s website for the most up to date information about the Loft’s COVID policies.
