ClassSelf-Care for Writers: Writing Through Chronic Pain, Chronic Illness, or Disability
Are you weighed down by physical pain, a chronic illness, or a physical disability? Do you feel stuck in your recovery process from life’s hurts and hangups? Then join us as we literally try to write our pain away.
In a supportive and safe group environment, we will go through several writing and healing exercises. The focus will be on writing as well as contemplation/meditation. However, we will have time for positive/supportive feedback. This workshop is appropriate for people who want to write by traditional pen-and-paper means, type on the device of their choice, or dictate/speak their feelings.
No writing experience is necessary, and no one will be required to read anything they write to the group. Prose, poetry, playwriting, screenwriting, short stories, and more are welcome. Come join us to release your feelings and get on the path to creating a life with fewer limitations!
Please note that this workshop is not a substitute for physical or mental healthcare.
All Classes listed on the Loft website take place in Central Time.
