Whether you’re aiming for traditional publication or are excited to self-publish, many writers understand how to prepare a manuscript for publication, but readying themselves to be their book’s ambassadors is a trickier quest. In this energetic and uplifting craft seminar from visiting artist Courtney Maum, the acclaimed author of six books (including “Before and After the Book Deal”), will help guide the way. 

The class is designed as a focused lab and includes exercises for generating as well as identifying suitable material then crafting it into drafts for finished pieces. Through a layered feedback & workshop process, students clarify a project, begin drafts & devise a workable plan to complete it.
