The International Dublin Writers' Festival

You are invited to the International Dublin Writers’ Festival! Join us this fall from September 20th to 22nd, 2024.

Since 2015, we have been hosting the festival annually, offering a varied panel of speakers, including renowned authors and industry experts. Our featured speakers this year include Doug Richardson (Screenwriter, Author, & Literary Consultant) and A. Keith Carrero (Award-winning Author & Educator). 

We aim to provide community, inspiration, and learning opportunities for authors in all genres. Our programme includes sessions on editing, (self)publishing, and marketing for authors—all against the backdrop of a UNESCO World Heritage City rich with literary history. Compliment your experience at the festival with a trip to Trinity College’s famous Book of Kells experience, pop into a reading of Joyce’s Ulysses at Sweny’s pharmacy, or explore Dublin’s many unique bookstores.
