SCBWI Marvelous Midwest 2024 Conference

Six states including Minnesota are hosting the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) Marvelous Midwest 2024 Conference in Davenport, IA, the weekend of April 12-14. Members and non-members are welcome to attend keynotes, panels, and break-out sessions with literary agents, editors, authors, illustrators, and art directors. There will be a manuscript contest, manuscript critiques, a pitch panel, portfolio showcase, portfolio reviews, and an art show. Some of these, as well as intensives with presenters, cost extra, but there are so many offerings and meals included in the registration price! Students receive a discount, too.
