Write Like a Mother!
Scribente Maternum was formed out of a desire to find balance between our children as writing inspiration and their perpetual presence as writing distraction. All writers who identify as mothers are invited to join us for our next chance to retreat together as a community, November 7-10 in NE Minneapolis.
This retreat includes:

Time and space to write

Curated craft sessions with acclaimed writers and teachers from the Minneapolis area

Supportive feedback in small groups (and space to share more than just writing)

Mindfulness practices and intentional movement

The unique and brave Scribente Maternum writer-moms community

Opportunities to explore and support the arts and culture of the Twin Cities

FREE writer goodies, curated from vendors across the upper Midwest

Saturday night dinner together as a group

Celebratory closing session, including opportunities for participants to share their work.
Bonus: Register for just $97! Nothing else is due until the end of September.
Double bonus: Writers who identify both as mothers and as Black Minnesotans are invited to apply for a completely free retreat experience. Applications are due April 1, 2024.
