Writers in Action: The Event! (March 16)

Writers in Action: The Event! is a free day-long community event that will give metro area residents information about and the chance to engage in a broad range of creative writing activities. This event brings together in one place experts in literary arts who do something more than, or other than, publish their writing. Throughout the day we’ll offer various arts and writing workshops, performances, demonstrations, discussions, healing exercises, and more. Activities will showcase the work of writers in their many different roles, such as teachers, dramatists, editors, bloggers, healers, storytellers, activists, and family archivists. Information about publishers, bookstores, writers groups, and other supporting services will also be available. Children are welcome at selected activities. All activities take place on March 16, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at UROC, 2001 Plymouth Ave N, Minneapolis.
