The Loft Lit!Series is a weekend-long gathering for readers and writers with a goal of providing a community-centric literary experience for all and exposing participants to new books, authors, and ideas. Each weekend features a variety of programs to engage in, including craft seminars led by published authors, one-on-one meetings with agents and editors to help guide emerging writers on their own journeys, lunchtime learning sessions, and a centerpiece conversation featuring our Keynote Speaker and Visiting Teaching Artists on a selected theme.

Our next Lit!Series will take place October 4–6 centered around the topic of Banned Books. We're excited that Carmen Maria Machado will join us as our keynote author.

A Weekend to Connect

I met so many talented people, felt held creatively by so many people. Gratitude, and onward I go on this continued journey of writing, making, learning, and growing.

A Weekend to Share Work

The highlight of my consultation was incredible and specific reinforcement from an industry pro who gave me immense confidence in my project and my writing, which up to this point had only been seen by a few fellow writers.”
